HAVASU SKATES WELCOMES YOU

Havasu Skates is non-profit 501C3 in Lake Havasu City. 

Our mission is to provide roller skating events for the community of LHC and surrounding cities.  Our events are FREE and hosted once a month.  We operate solely on donations and sponsorships from our community and local businesses.  All staff members of Havasu Skates are volunteers. 

Our resident DJ Freeman travels to LHC one a month to rock the rink with your favorite tunes and he does of accept requests of course!  

Fun lighting and lasers light up the rink once we call "lights out" and host our lights out count down.  

Our merchandise booth is always available with T-shirts, tank tops, koozies, fans and skate bags for purchase.  

We take a group photo center rink, have professional photography and a videographer at each event.  

Everyone loves to play games, so we play a different group game each event.  Four corners, red light/green light, limbo and  freeze!  Each winner receives a prize from one of our sponsors.

We love to celebrate birthdays and have a monthly cupcake sponsor from Small Cakes.  Come celebrate your birthday with us and have cupcake on us.

We have amazing vendors that rotate coming each month with delicious food and drinks served up fresh.

This is just a little bit about what we are doing now, but where are we heading?

Our main goal is to fundraise and open a new indoor climate controlled roller skating rink for the city.  This is something that has never been done.  The city has had outdoor skating rinks and an indoor ice skating rink, but never an indoor roller skating rink.  Our city is amazing and offers so many things to do outside, but does lack indoor activities that are fun for ALL ages.  We are extremely passionate about making the goal a reality, and we need YOUR help to make it happen.

Havasu Skates started out in 2019 with just a few people coming together to do what they love. Little did they know that it would grow into the thriving skate club it is today.   Our dedicated members enjoy meeting often for different events and activities. Passion and enthusiasm go hand-in-hand with everything we do.

 

Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level. We are proud to bring together people from all over Lake Havasu and beyond.
